EFCC ON A PLAN MOVING TO GHANA TO GET NIGERIAN YAHOO BOYS HIDING IN GHANA.
The Acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) know as Ibrahim Magu announced moving to Ghana to get Nigerian yahoo boys hiding in ghana.
On a meeting with the Chartered Institute of pubic Resources Management and politics (CIPRMP) as he paid a visit in Abuja on June 26 2020 been Friday.
He said the commission is putting resources together to go after the looters hiding in Ghana and recover some stolen wealth stashed by looters in that country.
Corruption is a borderless crime, we're putting our resources together to allow us to go Ghana without restrictions and recovery every our stolen property back.
I am appealing to Nigerians to believe the commission with relevant information about Corrupt practices in the country.
Many looters are hiding in Ghana, we're already talking and we will bring them back, we will go bring the assets back to the country.
Reacting allegations that the commissioner ia not transparent i its activities, as the EFCC chairman said.
"We follow the international best practice when it comes to areas of investigations tracing of looters, recovering looters assets.
We all have our records and we are aware that we have ruffled many feathers, we have touched the untouchables and we have dare lions im their dens.
We are doing all these not because we love dangers and death, we're doing them because we value the comfort and development which anti- corruption brings.
We value good lives for our fellow men and women and we value better future for all our children, the costs of fighting corruption may be grave.
We not fighting is more deadly, this is why we continue to call on evey Nigerians to enlist in the anti-graft war, a good war is a war that is way by the majority for a good of the majority people.
