A lady who accused Nigerian singer  Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as D'banj  of rape has released a statement details of where she got raped by D'banj.

According to the statement, Seyitan who accused D'banj for rape  insisted that she was raped by him and she also said that he arrested and intimidated her after she came out with her story then threatened that he can buy off anyone within the justice system in Nigeria.

She wrote in her statement ,on December 30 2018 she was violated and raped by D'banj after he gained access into her hotel room.

She also said the  reason why she  was forced out with the story on 3 june 2020 is that D'banj went to his instagram page and make a post about SAY NO TO RAPE, Why  he is a rapist.

 As she added, On june 6 2020, she went to the Bar Beach police station in Victoria Island to make a formal reports but she was not meant to. She said her attempt was thwarted by an officer of the law at the police station.

She said four armed police officers stormed her apartment and arrested her without a warrant on june 16, she also said they  break the entrance by pretending to be delivery people. And my mother was not arrested too.

According to her , she was put in a police cell without any criminals offence, on the following day been jude 17 she was made a sign a gag on by the police and D'banj team and she could only share on social  media what she has been approved by D'banj team gang.

She was then released and was picked up by D'banj team to an unknown place where she was isolated, coerced and pressured by D'banj and his team.

She added her mother, her lawyer and her  friends couldn't reach her until activists Swung into action and tracked her using satellite map. She said that since 18th of june Dbanj through his team has continued to harass me.

She never came out for a financial gain, but at that time she came out only to asked for an apology through her lawyer, she also insists that the apology is all  she still asking for .

She added she still dealing with the effects of rape, the trauma of recounting that multiple times this week and the  indignity being held against my will for two days.

She said , am still yet to come to. terms with the  fact that fundamental human right were stolen from me, No one should be subjected to what she has been through from the violent abuse which happened to me in a hotel room that the door was locked to being intimate for speaking up.

She said, most importantly, nobody should have the right to use their name or status to intimidate survivors who speak out or to tempt with justice. She also thanked those who stood by her and for time to heal.
