FEMALE IRAQI MEDICAL DOCTOR SHOT TO DEAD IN BASRA.


A female lraqi doctor and a activist identified as Riham Yaqoob was shot dead in the Iraqi city of Basra a moment she led local anti-government protests on Wednesday.


According to the news, following the murder of Riham the prime minister known as Mustafa al-kadhimi dismissed Basra's chief of police and other security officials.

He also vowed to do everything necessary for the security forces to undetake their duties.

As he stated, "complicity with the killers and submitting to their threats is rejected and we will do everything necessary for the ministry of interior and security agencies of society from the threats of outlaws".


This is coming barely 5 months after kadhimi a former intelligence chief was sworn in following the resignation in the capital badghad Basra and other southern cities. Now there has been continous protests in Iraq due to the endemic corruption, high unemployment dire public service and foreign interference.
