AFRI-GOAL FOUNDATION LAMBASTED PRESIDENT BUHARI OVER DECISION TO INCREASE PETROL PRICE.

 

President Muhammadu buhari led administration as an insensitive government made on making Nigerians to suffer by increasing patrol price in Nigerian as the Afri-Goal Foundation declared.


According to the news, president Buhari increasing petrol price at the time that the citizens are facing serious hardship in the Country due to Coronavirus pandemic. The organization says that the recent fuel hike in the country has shown that the Buhari led administration and the ruling all progressives congress do not care about the people of Nigerians.


The Afri-Goal foundation said, the Pipelines and product marketing Company (PPMC) a subsidiary of the Nigerian National petroleum Corporation NNPC, had earlier announced an increment in the pump price of petrol to N151.56 per litre.


NGO also said that government reverses the pump price to its original N130 and also reverse other anti-human taxes and tariffs increase, the latest increments should not have been though of as it is coming at a time when the people are yet to get over the hardship and bite of coronavirus.

 

While battling the impact of COVID-19 the government not only increase electricity tariff but also raised taxes and levies on the informal Sector, the fuel hike appears to be a slap on the faces of Nigerians who are merely striving to provide for themselves what the government has failed to do.
